Dongyi Sourcing Ltd is searching potential candidates for Development Merchandiser – Sweater position.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with design teams to develop new sweater styles based on market trends and customer preferences.
Source fabrics, yarns, and trims that meet design specifications and budget constraints.
Create and maintain detailed product specifications and tech packs.
Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of sweater orders.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal impact on delivery schedules.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company.
Evaluate and select new suppliers to expand and improve the supply chain.
Implement and oversee quality control procedures throughout the production process.
Conduct inspections and audits at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock while minimizing excess.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Monitor and manage the flow of materials and finished products to meet delivery schedules. Address any quality issues promptly and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
Conduct market research to identify new trends, materials, and technologies in the sweater industry.
Analyze sales data to inform future product development and merchandising strategies.
Develop and implement merchandising plans to maximize sales and profitability.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Prepare regular reports on production status, sales performance, and market trends.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in sportswear or apparel.
Strong knowledge of fabric properties, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical design tools.
RMG, Multinational Buying office, Trading office.
Additional Requirements
Age limit 35 years
Must be fluent in English writing and speaking.
Must have advance skill on MS Excel, MS Word & MS Power Point.
