Dongyi Sourcing Ltd is searching potential candidates for Product Developer – Denim position.
Job Responsibilities
Work with design teams to develop initial Denim concepts and designs.
Conduct market research to identify current trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
Create mood boards, design sketches, and technical specifications for new Denim designs.
Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for Denim production.
Evaluate material performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with suppliers to obtain material samples and approvals.
Oversee the creation of Denim prototypes and samples.
Review and provide feedback on prototypes to ensure they meet design and quality standards.
Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to the design.
Create detailed technical packages, including measurements, construction details, and material specifications.
Ensure technical accuracy and consistency throughout the development process.
Collaborate with the technical design team to resolve any issues.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
Address any production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Establish quality standards and conduct inspections at various stages of production.
Ensure final products meet the company’s quality, fit, and performance standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues that arise.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and merchandising teams to align product development with market needs and promotional strategies.
Participate in product launch meetings and provide insights on product features and benefits.
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the development process.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in sportswear or apparel.
Strong knowledge of fabric properties, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical design tools.
RMG, Multinational Buying office, Trading office.
Additional Requirements
Age limit 35 years
Must be fluent in English writing and speaking.
Must have advance skill on MS Excel, MS Word & MS Power Point.
